Deep Well Float Bowl Nuts

Deep Well Float Bowl Nuts were designed to store more fuel around the main jet, eliminating the potential of running lean due to fuel starvation. The Dial-A-Jet fuel pick-up is placed further from the main jet eliminating fuel cavitation between the two circuits. Deep Well Nuts are also a space saver allowing you to place the Dial-A-Jet, IntelaJet  or Thunder PowerJet fuel pick-up on the side of the nut rather than the bottom.

All deep well float bowl nuts are machined from billet 6061 Aluminum.
DJ-548 and DJ-549 also have diamond hardcoat finish with teflon coating.

DJ-540  -  Fits: 32mm - 38mm VM roundslide Mikuni carbs and TM 33, TM 42-48, TMX 42-48 and TMS 42-48

Tech note:  The floor of the float bowl nut and main jet are so close to the fuel flow holes in the stock nut that a hard landing will actually force fuel out the flow holes, causing the engine to suck air under heavy load and resulting in extreme engine damage and failure.  We have moved the flow holes in the DJ-548 and DJ-549 so that this condition does not occur using these nuts.

DJ-548 - Fits: Mikuni 38mm and 40mm TM Rack style carbs (OEM on
             Arctic Cat and Polaris snowmobiles).  Also fits 38mm
             and 40mm TM Rack style carbs on Ski-Doo providing

DJ-549 - Fits: Mikuni 38mm and 40mm TM Rack style carbs (OEM on
             Arctic Cat, Polaris and Ski-Doo snowmobiles).  NOTE:
             Due to engine placement on some model Ski-Doo's, only
             the DJ-549 will fit.  The inside bore is deeper in the DJ-549 because it does not have an external bottom bore like the stock float bowl nut (see photo on right)   -  $14.95
